Zac’s musical journey began in Bangalow, where he started writing songs, playing in bands and performing in the local scene from a young age. After moving beyond his hardcore roots, a discovery of Krautrock sparked a deeper exploration into experimental and improvised music, leading him to form his own group and spend several years performing around Melbourne. A stint in Berlin and transformative nights at Berghain, he shifted his perspective on DJing. What he once saw as secondary to musicianship became another form of musical expression: blending records, building new sonic worlds and creating those rare moments where a dancefloor seems to transcend time and place.
